What is Just Discipleship?
Just Discipleship was founded by Michael and Benjamin Steward as a way to help families build lasting, thriving, and loving relationships with each other and the Lord Jesus Christ. To accomplish this, they work closely with churches to help build and grow their family and children's ministry teams.
With over 27 years of combined experience, Michael and Benjamin's passion and calling are to equip, encourage, and empower families to take the first step in discipleship. They have had the privilege of investing in hundreds of families around the United States.
Simply put, their hearts are focused on equipping families to lead and disciple their children in the ways of the Lord.
Michael Steward
With over 25 years of experience in helping families find and follow Jesus, Michael’s knowledge in children and family ministry in the local church, as well as serving families, comes from serving in the ministry trenches and raising up his own children in the ways of the Lord.
Michael’s greatest joy is his family. He has had the privilege of being married to Kirstin for over 28 years. They have four children and two grandchildren.
Benjamin Steward
Benjamin’s passion is equipping the next generation to lead their families in a way that has lasting effects on their spiritual journey. His knowledge and experience in ministry largely comes from growing up within the walls of the church; experiencing firsthand what real family discipleship is… and isn't. Benjamin has had the privilege of following Michael around the United States.
Benjamin’s greatest joy is spending time with his nieces and teaching kiddos about Christ. Benjamin has been serving in Kids Ministry since he was a kid himself and spends most of his days with his family or studying.
