What is Just Discipleship?
Just Discipleship was founded by Michael and Benjamin Steward as a way to help families build lasting, thriving, and loving relationships with each other and the Lord Jesus Christ. To accomplish this, they work closely with churches to help build and develop discipleship pathways for churches.
Michael and Benjamin's passion and calling are to equip, encourage, and empower families to take the first step in discipleship. They have had the privilege of investing in hundreds of families around the United States.
Simply put, their hearts are focused on equipping families to lead and disciple their children in the ways of the Lord.
Michael Steward
With over three decades dedicated to serving families, Michael has committed himself to helping them discover and embrace the path of discipleship with Jesus. He brings with him the wisdom gained through local church ministry, particularly in the areas of children and family ministry. Not only is he a local church minister, but is also a family man who, alongside his wife, has raised children who love Jesus.
Michael finds the greatest joy in his family. He has been fortunate enough to bask in the glow of over 30 years of marriage with his wife, Kirstin. Together, they have four children and five grandchildren.
Benjamin Steward
With over ten years of experience in ministry and a lifetime of involvement in his father's, Benjamin has a passion for equipping the next generation to lead their families in a way that has lasting effects on their spiritual journey. He brings with him the experience of a lifetime in ministry and the energy and excitement to develop new ideas and leaders.
Benjamin and his wife, Tess, find their joy in serving the church, playing board games, going to the movies, and hosting in their home, believing ministry is more lifestyle than career.
